The bartending world is evolving, bringing new ways to grow, connect, and seize opportunities. But while the industry moves forward, one thing remains the same: bartenders thrive when they have the right resources and a strong community behind them.
For years, The Tahona Society has been more than just a celebration of tequila—it has been a space for bartenders to learn and connect through global competitions, industry events, and mentorship programs. Along the way, we’ve seen incredible talent, creativity, and ambition. But we’ve also seen bartenders looking for career support, knowledge-sharing, and meaningful connections beyond what’s available in their immediate circles.
That’s why, over the past year, we’ve been building something we truly believe the community needs: a dedicated space where bartenders can advance their careers, share knowledge, and support each other. The Altos Tahona Society Online Community isn’t just another platform—it’s a space built for bartenders with real opportunities to grow.
This isn’t just another industry forum. It’s a place where knowledge and opportunity come together in a way that feels real and useful. Whether you’re just starting your bartending career or already established, this space connects you with the people, insights, and tools to help you grow.
Inside the community, you’ll be able to:
Getting started is simple, and within minutes, you can begin exploring everything the community has to offer.
For now, the platform is accessible via desktop and mobile browsers, with iOS and Android apps coming soon.
If you’ve followed the Altos Tahona Society Competition, you’ll be excited to know that applications are now managed directly through the Online Community. This change makes it easier than ever to submit your project, stay updated, and connect with others throughout the process.
Since 2018, the competition has challenged bartenders to go beyond cocktails and create projects that improve bar culture, support their communities, and promote sustainability. The winner receives $50,000 in funding and coaching from Harvard Innovation Labs-trained experts, giving them the resources and mentorship to bring their vision to life.
To apply, simply log in to the Online Community, go to the “Win $50K!” space, and click “Apply Here.” Submit your application and keep an eye on your inbox for updates.
This community exists because we know how much talent, creativity, and passion exists within the bartending world. We also know that having access to the right tools, networks, and opportunities can make all the difference.
For us, this isn’t just a digital space—it’s the next step in what the Tahona Society has always stood for: supporting bartenders in real, meaningful ways. If you’re ready to take that next step, we can’t wait to welcome you.
