Tequila spritzers are here: Dive into the trend of Fizzy and Sparkling Tequila Cocktails!

As the temperatures rise, the summer of 2024 will see a significant trend in the world of refreshing beverages: spritzers.

These light, bubbly drinks are not only perfect for hot days but have also evolved in exciting ways, making them the drink of choice for many.

Here, we’ll explore what spritzers are, the types currently trending, why they’ve become so popular, and how you can elevate their consumption with Altos tequila!

What is a Spritzer

An ordinary spritzer combines wine with sparkling water, often served over ice. The result is a light, fizzy beverage that’s perfect for warm weather. Spritzers are versatile and can be customized with various fruits, herbs, and other flavorings to suit different palates.

Types of Spritzers

1. Classic Wine Spritzers: Made with white or rosé wine and soda water, these spritzers are simple yet refreshing.

2. Amaro Spritzers: A popular Italian cocktail made with Amaro, prosecco, and a splash of soda water, garnished with an orange slice.

3. Fruit Spritzers: Incorporate fresh fruits like berries, citrus, melon, or grapes, adding a burst of flavor and color.

4. Herbal Spritzers: Infused with mint, basil, rosemary, ginger, lavender, saffron, sage, lemon balm, thyme… these spritzers offer a sophisticated twist.

5. Spirit-Based Spritzers: Incorporating spirits like tequila, these spritzers are perfect for those looking for a bit more kick!

Why Spritzers are Trending Now

1. Health Consciousness: With more people seeking lighter, lower-calorie options, spritzers offer a refreshing alternative to heavier cocktails.

2. Versatility: The ability to customize spritzers with different wines, fruits, and herbs makes them appealing to a wide range of tastes.

3. Social Media Influence: Spritzers are visually appealing, making them a hit on platforms like Instagram, where aesthetics play a big role in trends.

4. Summer Vibes: Due to their light and refreshing nature, spritzers are the perfect drink for summer gatherings, beach outings, and barbecues.

To add an exciting twist to your spritzer, consider incorporating Altos Plata. Combine tequila, fresh lime juice, a splash of soda water, and a touch of agave syrup. Another option can be to muddle fresh berries in a glass, then add tequila, a splash of sparkling water, and ice. Stir well and garnish with a mint sprig. You can also mix tequila with soda water and an herbal syrup made from rosemary or basil.

By incorporating tequila, you not only add a unique flavor profile but also create a more robust and exciting spritzer that stands out at any summer event.

Spritzers are the go-to beverage for summer 2024, thanks to their refreshing nature, versatility, and visual appeal.
