The Tahona Society has always been more than a competition. It’s a movement—a belief that bartenders can transform the world when given the right tools, space, and support.
Now, we’re taking that vision even further.
A New Chapter Begins
This year, the level of talent and innovation in the Tahona Society Competition blew us away. We received bold ideas from all over the world—ideas with the power to change communities, challenge industries, and create a more conscious future.
But something quickly became clear: we couldn’t stop at choosing just a few finalists.
There were too many ideas worth supporting. Too many changemakers ready to rise.
So we created something new.
Meet the Tahona Launch Pad
This October, we’ll welcome the very first cohort of the Tahona Launch Pad—an online, 6-month program designed for high-potential social entrepreneurs.
The Launch Pad will guide participants through every step of the entrepreneurial journey—from refining their founder mindset to developing go-to-market strategies and navigating funding options.
Through a mix of founders tables, skill-building sessions, and roundtables, participants will explore topics such as customer acquisition, product roadmap planning, marketing and communications, legal frameworks, team formation, and more. The program culminates with a virtual Demo Day, where each social entrepreneur will present their progress and vision for what’s next.
Like everything we do at the Tahona Society, the Launch Pad is rooted in purpose. It’s designed for those who are ready to keep going—to sharpen their vision, expand their impact, and build something that truly lasts.
Why We Built This?
The hospitality world is filled with hidden leaders. Bartenders who understand people, who see gaps in the system, and who have the courage to create new solutions. The Tahona Launch Pad is our way of saying: we see you. We believe in your idea. And we’re here to help you grow it.
Because social entrepreneurship doesn’t happen overnight. It’s a path that requires time, guidance, and belief. The kind of belief that doesn’t fade after one competition, and that builds community, resilience, and change.
What’s Next
The Launch Pad also marks the beginning of a full suite of cohort-based programs offered through the Altos Tahona Society Online Community. These will include the Tahona Ideation Program for those shaping early-stage ideas, Pitch Perfect—our dedicated training track for competition finalists—and, the Tahona Launch Pad, the longest and most comprehensive program in the lineup. Together, these experiences form a powerful ecosystem of support for social entrepreneurs in hospitality, no matter where they are on their journey.
